July 23, 2014 – Earlier this week, the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) announced the 2014-15 Teachers of the Future. Gabe Cronin, Seattle Academy Upper School Science and Robotics teacher and Zambia trip leader, was one of thirty-five teachers nation-wide to receive the honor. These teachers will be engaged in a dynamic conversation about leading trends and issues in K-12 learning and teaching and will work together to develop resources and guidance for schools on this year’s four themes:

  • Blended and Online Learning
  • Student Health and Wellbeing
  • Student Assessment
  • Accreditation

Gabe joins fellow SAAS faculty Gary Anderson, Dexter Chapin, Bill Metcalfe, and Joel Underwood with this distinction. Seattle Academy is the only school in the nation to have more than three honorees.

Congratulations Gabe!
